Brookhaven Rain Barrels was founded by Patrick Magee in Atlanta, Georgia. As a hobby gardener, he began making rain barrels by converting 55 gallon plastic drums into “garden cisterns” for watering his garden at a time when water conservation and outdoor watering restrictions were first being introduced. These first rain barrels were only intended for personal use. In an attempt to find out more about rain barrels and ways to improve them, Pat founded the website www.rainbarrels.org. This hobby of making rain barrels moved into a part-time service as some were sold in the Atlanta area and the company, Brookhaven Rain Barrels LLC., was formed. Today, the web address www.brookhavenrainbarrels.com also links to the original website.

Past Brookhaven rain barrel models came in many different colors and designs and were made from different materials and hardware. Over the years, our rain barrels have continued to improve as we emphasis both form and function. We are now offering the best rain barrels yet and believe these are the finest anywhere.
